Orlando City SC is taking part in a meaningful initiative to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of the Pulse nightclub shooting. The club, alongside Orlando Pride, Orlando Magic, and Orlando Solar Bears, has announced the release of a special-edition '10 Years of Orlando United' T-shirt. This collaboration aims to honor the victims of the tragedy and support the survivors through proceeds donated to The Center Orlando via the Orlando Soccer Foundation. The T-shirt features the iconic 'Orlando United' heart and a commemorative ribbon, symbolizing unity and resilience within the community. Kaia Forget, vice president of community impact and DEI for Orlando City SC and Pride, emphasized the importance of standing together as a community in remembrance of the lives lost. The T-shirts will be available at various locations, including The Den and ShopOrlandoPride.com, as well as during community events throughout Pride Month. Fans are encouraged to wear the shirts during commemorative matches to show their support and solidarity.
